The Basic Sciences Research Institute continues its efforts to produce a wide range of qualified information in various branches of basic science and interdisciplinary fields, to carry out scientific activities at the international level and to provide Turkey with scientific competitiveness. In this context, an international Summer School on "Theoretical Particle Physics" will be organized at the Institute between 05-14 July 2024. The aim of the school is to provide the necessary theoretical background in high energy physics to students who want to do graduate studies in high energy physics, who are working in this field, and who want to go to CERN and similar research centers. The lectures will be given by lecturers from various universities in Turkey and abroad and will provide basic theoretical knowledge on Special Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory, Quantum Electrodynamics, Group Theory, Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model.
