Quantum-Turkey National Workshop

Recent technological developments have led to direct applications of quantum mechanical phenomena. These applications, which contribute to a better understanding of the fundamentals of quantum, cover a wide range from communication technologies to simulators, from sensing and measurement systems to quantum computers. In parallel with these developments in the world, studies are being carried out and various activities are being organized in the European Union under the title of Quantum Flagship. The aim of the Quantum-Turkey Workshop is to identify students from Turkey who will participate in the Quantum Future Academy 2020 event to be held in Berlin, Germany between November 1-7, 2020. Participants will contribute with their presentations to this workshop, where the latest developments in quantum mechanics and especially in quantum information theory and quantum computing will be discussed.
Who Can Apply?
Students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs in natural sciences and engineering at universities in Turkey are eligible to apply. Applicants should also have a basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and an adequate level of English.
