Massachusetts Teknoloji Enstitüsü’nden (ABD) Prof. Dr. Nergis Mavalvala, 7 – 14 Temmuz 2019 tarihleri arasında yapılacak olan “Gravitasyonel Dalgalar: Yeni Meydan Okumalar ve Fırsatlar” araştırma yaz okuluna konuşmacı olarak katılmak üzere TÜBİTAK Temel Bilimler Araştırma Enstitüsü’nü (TBAE) ziyaret edecektir. Prof. Dr. Nergis Mavalvala, TBAE’nin Popüler Akşam Konuşmaları dizisi kapsamında “Evrene Açılan Yeni Bir Pencere: Einstein Gravitasyonel Dalgaları için Asırlık Arayış” başlıklı bir genel konuşma yapacaktır. Adı geçen konuşma 11 Temmuz günü saat 20:00 – 21:00 arasında gerçekleşecektir.
