Current Developments and Challenges

The use of novel mathematical, statistical and computational techniques is of tremendous interest to understand the fundamental principles underlying biological processes as well as the huge amount of currently available biological data. The purpose of the School on Bioinformatics is to bring together early career researchers and motivated students and offer excellent series of specialized lectures, based on fundamentals, statistical and computational methods. The lectures will also address challenging problems in bioinformatics and biomedical research.
